Holmdel Hurricanes

NEW - This season we will be launching the Red, White, and Blue Race Series! For this series of events we will be split up into three equal teams:

• White Cyclones
• Red Lightning
• Blue Thunder

The team rosters will be announced on Sunday June 28th. That is the day right after time trials. I will be using the times from that event to make the teams. Some more information about this race series:

• The race series will be comprised of two regular season races with events exactly the same as our dual meets (there also might be a special guest team invited to these meets as well), a sprint meet (the old Red, White, and Blue meet) this time REALLY being scored for points, and a championship meet.
• Each team will have its own banner displaying its accomplishments carried by its previous meet most improved swimmers, a team flag carried by its previous meet mvp, team captains, each swimmer will receive a free team cap with their team's color, and a tunnel to run through at the beginning of every series meet.
• Heat Winner ribbons, several "medal heats" selected at random where every swimmer in that heat gets a medal, best time ribbons, and team trophies for every series meet. Individual trophies for the team that wins the championship meet and a banner honoring that team put up at the pool club!
• Scores will be kept and announced during the meet. Points will be earned up to 12th place in each event - so everyone has a chance to contribute to the team score.
